Twenty senior volunteers from the community particpate weekly in classrooms as part of Yavneh's nationally recognized award-winning Dor L’Dor volunteer program, founded in 1998.

The school’s unique program grew out of an interest in giving seniors the opportunity to experience the joy of being with children as well as giving children the important opportunity to meet seniors and learn from their life experiences.
