The Eden Society recognizes a special group of visionary investors who are making an impact on the future of our youth by including Yavneh Day School in their estate and financial plans.

The goal of The Eden Society is to help us to grow our endowment so that we can face the future with confidence. We want to be able to sustain our current level of activities, fund scholarships for more children, and maintain our outstanding facility. We want to promote professional advancement of our faculty, and support faculty compensation, curriculum development and special programs.

The Eden Society is named in honor of Yavneh founders and benefactors, Sham and Nachum Eden. The name “Eden” refers, as well, to the Garden of Eden in the first book of the Torah – B’reshit – “In the beginning.” We want to ensure that all of our Jewish youth have a beginning that is firmly planted in the soil of our Jewish garden of learning.
