The Yavneh Heiman
Family campus is located in suburban Kenwood
in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by parks. The school draws students
from a wide geographic region that includes not only all areas of
the city and county, but Northern Kentucky, Southern Indiana and
Hamilton as well. Approximately 400 students, pre-school through
eighth grade, study and learn, interact, create and play in a superior,
handicapped-accessible facility that has been thoughtfully developed
to meet their age-appropriate needs.
Illuminated by seven
splendid stained glass windows depicting Creation, The Boymel
Synagogue is the spiritual center of the school and is often used
for community events, as is Eden Hall, a large dining and multi-purpose
room with a kosher kitchen and full performance stage.
The school’s new full-size Bernstein gymnasium
allows for competitive league play. The Rockwern Music Music Center
complex boasts a performance stage, areas for choir and band and
instrument practice rooms. Yavneh’s extraordinary fine arts
classes are taught in a state-of-the-art studio equipped with a
kiln.
The Sam and Sarah Harris Pre-school occupies
its own wing that includes an indoor muscle room for play activity
in addition to a well-equipped, age-appropriate outdoor playground.
