Yavneh Day School is a community of learners. Students, teachers, Administration and parents are all engaged in learning – together and independently.

We encourage parents to communicate with the teachers about what their children are learning. We welcome opportunities to learn FROM our parents, as guest presenters in the classroom sharing information about careers and special interests. We also welcome opportunities to learn WITH the parents.

Opportunities

Parents can sign up for Hebrew classes (“Ulpan”) offered at Yavneh and sponsored by the Israel Programs Cabinet of the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati. Parents and older students can learn Israeli dancing offered weekly also by the Israel Programs Cabinet. (Contact the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati at 513.985.1500 or Yavneh.)

Yavneh Day School published THE SOURCE© - The Guide to Business and Jewish Life in Greater Cincinnati and the Tristate, an award-winning literary and resource guide by, of and for the Jewish community of Greater Cincinnati: 2002, 2003, 2004. In 2004, Yavneh joined forces with The American Israelite to publish The New Annual Manual.
